Our Optometrists & Eye Care Professionals
Optometrists are health care professionals who specialize in the field of eye care. Their jobs are to examine the eyes to verify vision in an all-encompassing range. Their jobs involve the testing, analyzing, and diagnosing of diseases or anomalies within the eye. They may also prescribe medicine, enter patients in therapies, and offer counseling for proper eye care.

Dr. Brooke WienerDr. Wiener is a graduate of Iowa State University and of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She practices Comprehensive Optometry for patients of all ages. Special interests are contact lens fittings; including new fits for children, patients with astigmatism and those with bifocal needs. Dr. Wiener has practiced in the North Branch area for over 10 years. She enjoys playing and watching sports as well as traveling.
Dr. Katrina Erickson
Katrina is a Bachelors graduate from UMD and a 2007 graduate from the Indiana School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys quilting, cross country skiing, and taking her dog Hunny for walks on the lake walk.
Dr. Beth Fischer
Dr. Fischer is a graduate from the Pacific University of Optometry, 2001. In her spare time, Beth enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with her dogs.
Dr. Mitch Weigel
I am originally from Bismarck, ND. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota. I earned my Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2010 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. My wife and I currently live in Duluth with our twin sons Miles and Carter. I enjoy spending most of my free time hanging out with my family.
Dr. Scott Wright
Illinois College of Optometry, 1999. In his spare time, Scott enjoys camping, fishing, and canoeing.
Dr. Quang V. Wilson
Dr. Quang V. Wilson is a Florida native recently relocated to Minnesota. Dr. Wilson has over 20 years of clinical experiences in comprehensive optometry. He specializes in fitting torics and multifocals contact
lenses and also co-manage pre and post op cataracts and Lasiks.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He also completed a low vision internship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
In his spare time Dr. Wilson enjoys biking, canoeing, playing tennis and spending time with his wife and two kids.
Dr. Candace Christen
Dr. Christen grew up in the Minneapolis area and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. She then graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Christen enjoys helping her patients see their best and will take the time to answer any questions that they may have. In her spare time Dr. Christen loves to be active with her family.
